Letting your
Property
The Italian rental market is buoyant at present, with the main
clientele being middle class British families, Germans, Scandinavians
and Americans. If you are considering letting your property, it
is advisable to involve us right from the beginning. About 70%
of the people who buy houses in Italy let their houses; about
half of these let on a “serious” basis. Certainly Abruzzo and
Marche are becoming known as a summer rental region, and letting
your restored property can be a good way of recovering some of
your restoration or contributing to your on-going running costs.
With both Abruzzo and Marche becoming better known thanks to a
variety of magazine features, newspaper articles and television
programmes, it is relatively easy for us to let your home. From
property that is fully let for around four months per year, you
can expect a yearly return of around 7% or more. Personal Client
Services, our
property management division will have someone locally
who can be on hand to sort out any problems that arise with tenants
when you are not in Italy; this facility is worth its weight in
gold.
